I love the way your drawings make the dream into a story.

My take: the guy is you, and you’re trying to get yourself to wake up before you get run over. Is something threatening to “run you over” in your waking life? Are you nervous about “missing something” (dangerous, or exciting) because you’re not paying careful attention (or falling asleep)?

Ha, yes to all those questions. I’m guessing it’s part of my recent efforts to be ok with uncertainty and my own mortality.
