Get a jar!
My son Sam loves jokes, and pranks, and basically anything gross or disgusting. It sends him into hysterics. This fact was the inspiration for today’s drawing.

Shoot to make it
Last week, my buddy Scott sent me down a rabbit hole reading about the NBA in-season tournament along with Tyrese Haliburton and his crazy jump-shot mechanics. I also came across this basketball-related wisdom just after that, and it’s all stuck with me and bubbled up into my drawing today.

Oranges
My daughter Vivian has been home from school sick almost all week, and I’ve been looking after her. Usually she’s pretty specific about what foods she wants when she’s sick, but this time has been a bit different. All she’s wanted really are oranges.

A willingness to be bad
I’m not the best artist, and I’m even less impressive with Affinity Designer, but I’m willing to be bad because I want to get better. This drawing isn’t great, and I almost gave up on it, but I like the vibe I ended up with. It might be terrible, but I still ticked the box.
