I mentioned this before in a post about noticing the good things, but this little, unnamed waterfall along my running route has not only been a marker of distance (it’s about 3 miles from my house and my typical turnaround point), but it’s also a strong motivator (gotta get to it!), and a reminder of the ordinary things I take for granted or, rather, try not too.
For no other reason than I thought it would be cool, I compiled scenes from the waterfall over the past year. Seeing how the waterfall looks on any given day is always a treat.
I also painted it today during a family painting session.
These simple pleasures add up.
