Reheated coffee

I saw this phrase today on my toothpaste tube. It said, “Do a little good today.” It kinda made me groan, but it also made me think about driving, of all things.

After running a marathon, moving house, spring break, and going down with some evil sickness, I’ve been a bit slow to get back up to my usual running cadence and distance this month, but I’m back on it this weekend.

Waiting in carpool
Back in the day, I used to spend a lot of time in the car commuting. Now I spend a lot of time waiting in school carpool.

Six times in six years
Over the course of the past 7 days I’ve run a marathon, celebrated my wife’s birthday, and moved into a new house. It’s been a busy month, but that’s nothing compared to the past 6 years.

Running my first marathon
One of my goals for this year was to run a full marathon. I’ve run a half-marathon a half-dozen times in the past, but a full one always felt out of reach. In the past year, all that changed, and I finally did it!
