Has intermittent fasting been good for my running? The data says yes.
I’ve been steadfast about fasting during the “work week” since the start of May, and over that time, I’ve put together a string of three (nearly four) months of running 100 miles or more.

I’ve certainly felt a difference from fasting. Running is much easier, and everything I do is lighter. It also helps that it’s warm and sunny where I’m running.

These past few months have been a good reminder of how regular exercise reinforces a good diet, and a good diet reinforces regular exercise.
Running has been the constant, but it’s nice to have the food part more dialed in now. Maybe that marathon I’ve been thinking about doing is within reach, after all.
