The sun sets after 10pm right now and it’s light out well into the night at the moment. Along with that, we also get some spectacular sunsets from our perch here on the farm. I’ve started to do some watercolor painting while standing at the kitchen counter, trying to chase the changing colors of the sunset through the window. It’s crazy how fast it changes over the course of the roughly 45 mins it takes to do these. While it gets dark in the kitchen, the light from outside makes it easy enough to work. I love ending the day with these.

I’m continuing to enjoy the need to work faster and looser with these using my outdoor kit (using Derwent Inktense travel paints and water brushes). More to come soon!
