I’m starting a new practice of setting challenges (not goals) for 2024. Yes, I’m also starting a month early.
2022 was my year of reading. I consciously didn’t plan to have any other goals (just this “theme”) throughout the year as a bit of an experiment. I tend to go a bit overboard on the goal lists and habit tracking, you see, so I thought the theme would be a good compromise.
It’s been great (I’ll recap it soon) but I’m ready to do more in 2024, so I’m going to have a challenge (not a goal!) per month focused on my yearly theme. I’ve been inspired by Austin Kleon’s 30-day challenge board, so I’m going to take a page from that (literally).

I’ve been neglecting my drawing habit recently, and especially want to do a drawing more on my Wacom. Ideally, I’m doing a drawing a day on the tablet, but with the holidays and travel happening, that might not always be possible. So, I’ll leave that for another month and just stick to drawing every day.
It doesn’t matter what.
The point is to get back into the daily habit.
After that, I can get fancy.
Here’s a couple of drawings from the month (on the Wacom) so far:

I’ll report back next month!
