A weekly selection of what I was reading, drawing, writing, and doing.
Oh now we’re in 2022 eh? We’ve scarcely noticed as we’re in full blown renovation madness and moved all last week, so lots of things feel different. This I’m certain of though: no matter how much you prepare for a move, it is always both harder than you think it will be and easier than you think it will be and you never have as much time as you thought you would. But it happens regardless.
In terms of the very few things I was able to check out this week, there were some gems.
This list of 18 things from 2021 by Jason Kottke was really interesting (The Painter and the Thief!?).
I wish I was better at following people on Twitter but I’m not, so I didn’t see this thread (of other tweets) by Tim Urban until it was shared on the old-fashioned internet: 21 thoughts from 2021 I’d like to take into 2022. It’s brilliant.
As for other enjoyable and thought-provoking reads, look no further than this 100 ways to slightly improve your life without really trying article. It is better than it sounds and will probably make you smile, chuckle, ponder, or all three.
That’s all I got from last week’s moving mania. Next week there will be more. Maybe. 😎
Last but not least, check out what I’m up to now.
