More Jalapeños on the way
Our tomatoes failed, but our jalapeño is resilient. It’s a little stressed, as you can see from the slightly yellow leaves, but there are a lot more peppers on the way. Another jalapeño update
First crop is in, and I fried some up today and put the rest in the freezer to become jalapeño jam in the not-to-distant future. I fried up the most redish ones. Spicy and delicious!

New plantings
My project today (amidst a soccer game and the Minecraft movie) was planting this ‘Miss Kim Korean Lilac‘. It was not difficult to do but still required a solid hour or more and yet, like all gardening, the effort expended was vastly outweighed by the satisfaction received.

Overexcited for spring
Spring is here, and we got a bit overexcited acquiring new plants for the new house. They look amazing, but now a big cold front is expected, so I spent a good chunk of the afternoon moving them inside or covering them.
