Fall is here, YES!!! I’ve been going hard on my spiritual jazz after the fall equinox (Pharoah Sanders, Kamasai Washington, etc) but this has been one of the best months of the year for new music. Here is my list for the month.
FKJ – Tyber
FKJ makes some of the coolest music out there. The SOUND is just so good. Headphone music for sure. I’m a big fan.
Hill Collective – Fire In Orbit
This came through my Jazz Room membership and fit squarely into the spiritual jazz vibe I have had going in the second half of this month.
Bonobo – Distance in Static
I could always listen to Bonobo and this latest album is no exception. Really good.
