This music update is way late. I’ll blame spring break and the nice weather here in North Carolina for keeping me away from my laptop. There has been no break from new music, though, and here is what I loved most in March.
Mammal Hands – Circadia
This was the album of the month in Bandcamp’s Jazz-ish Jazz club and it’s awesome.
Alexis Taylor – Paris In The Spring
As a long-time Hot Chip fan, this new solo album from the group’s frontman was a welcome suprise.
Champagne Bubblebath – Mixtape: Volume One
Fantastic name for a great band. Check out the instrumental cover of Spodieottiedopaliscious.
Garrett T. Capps – I Still Love San Antone
I love the “space country” music that Garret T. Capps makes. It’s perfect for my recent camping adventures.
Tom Misch – Full Circle
Love Tom Misch. This one is less jazz and more blues / rock and I’m not mad at all.
