Notes from the trail 02.17

I ran a 20 miler last week, and it hurt a bit more than I expected, but I’m basically where I need to be now for the marathon, and that feels good!

It’s crazy for me to think back to a year ago, when running 6–7 miles felt like a long run day. Ha ha! I never thought I’d be at the point where a 10-mile run felt short, but here I am, running for more than 3 hours just for training. I will gradually start to taper down now as I only have 4 weeks until the race, but my confidence is high. Happy to have made it this far.
