Tales of boys and their fathers

ellipses

A repost from Critter.blog, just because I liked it so much:

Tales of boys and their fathers are the same in every age, in every place. We love each other, hate each other, miss each other, hold each other back, but we can never live unaffected by each other. We try to be men and never really know how.

Fredrik Backman, “The Winners”

The author Fredrik Backman has come up twice for me in one week. First for the book A Man Called Ove and then for the Beartown series. Both are going on my list for the year of reading.
