It’s well known that I love running and the only thing I love more than running is running while traveling. This week I’ve been running along Denver’s Cherry Creek trail in the morning. I don’t typically bring a phone along when I run but I do it when I’m traveling so I can capture what I see. I also find it has the effect of making me look more intentionally at little details around me than I would otherwise do. Win-win.
After several runs, I can safely say that the Cherry Creek trail is a gem. It’s beautifully kept, with nice paved trails, lots of trees, waterfalls, and wildlife right within a busy city. It feels like the trail is hidden right “under” the city at times.
I’ve really appreciated having this trail at my doorstep this week. Thanks, Denver. 😃
