Saturday walk: perspective is everything

It feels like the very tail end of winter and the beginning of spring here in Glasgow. I took our dog Rubee out on a walk this morning through a bit of woods we know well and a bit that we had never gone through before, or at least I thought.

Panoramic view of trail through woods
Have we been here before?

After the fact I realized we had walked the same trail a long time back, but from the other direction.

Every day is the best day for a dog
I see that skeptical look Rubee

No matter how many times we walk some of these trails, I always find something new that I didn’t notice. It’s amazing how going in the opposite direction on the same trail can make it feel completely new. Perspective is everything.

The woods are thick and wild
In search of anything to chase
X marks the spot
