Three summers
Today is the summer solstice. It’s the longest day of the year in Scotland, with 17 hours, 35 minutes of daylight and ZERO night. It’s going to be daylight 10 hours, 36 minutes longer than the winter solstice in Scotland.

Ice cream, bike rides, house work (our simple summer so far)
Today was the first day since sometime in May it felt like summer. It got a little past 21 (70 Fahrenheit) and that felt SO GOOD! We’re just past a week into the kid’s summer holidays, so we’re in the groove now. Here are some pics that are typical of what our days are like.…
