Another jalapeño update
First crop is in, and I fried some up today and put the rest in the freezer to become jalapeño jam in the not-to-distant future. I fried up the most redish ones. Spicy and delicious!

Jalapeño update
Jalapeño fever is in full effect. Got at least a dozen going and almost another dozen flowers coming out as well. The crop is looking strong. I started looking into how to know when they are ready to pick and also that you can leave them on a little longer to get more heat or…

Kav’s raised beds are going crazy and I am unreasonably excited about the jalapeño peppers that are on the way.

New plantings
My project today (amidst a soccer game and the Minecraft movie) was planting this ‘Miss Kim Korean Lilac‘. It was not difficult to do but still required a solid hour or more and yet, like all gardening, the effort expended was vastly outweighed by the satisfaction received.

Overexcited for spring
Spring is here, and we got a bit overexcited acquiring new plants for the new house. They look amazing, but now a big cold front is expected, so I spent a good chunk of the afternoon moving them inside or covering them.
